From first-time storytellers to published authors and companies ready to share or reimagine their story, I’m here to help you create a book that feels authentic, beautiful, and lasting.

My Story

LizKing_Headshot Cropped.jpg

We all have many pieces to our story—so where do we begin? For me, this studio is my beginning. Each drawing, book, autograph, and collectible reflects a chapter of my life, shaped by growing up around television soundstages, movie lots, art studios, and Walt Disney Imagineering. Those early experiences fueled my creativity and love of storytelling, and this space brings it all together. I’m glad you’re here.

Art and design have been a part of me since I could first hold a pencil, pen, or paintbrush. What began as a love of creating grew into a career spanning over 40 years in graphic design, marketing, and advertising. Today, I focus on my lifelong passion: helping people tell their stories.

I guide others in bringing their stories to life—through book design, graphic arts, or media—whether it’s a family history, special event, custom wall piece, or published book. Early advice from Legendary Disney Imagineer, Herb Ryman—“Remember, your talent doesn’t belong to you; you need to give it away”—shaped my path. Today, I share my talent to help others express their stories in meaningful ways.

I believe storytelling can reconnect us in a world that often feels disconnected. My mission is to empower others to embrace their creativity and use their unique voice to tell the stories that matter most.

Here’s how the process works:

1. Discovery & Creative Consultation. We begin with a collaborative consultation where we explore your story, content, imagery, and overall design goals. This may include a book, brand narrative, visual series, exhibition, or digital experience. Together, we uncover the heart of your story—your why, what, and how. We’ll also discuss style preferences, mood, color direction, and the emotional experience you want your audience to have, ensuring we’re aligned from the very beginning.

2. Storyboarding & Design Planning. Next, I develop initial concepts tailored to your project and chosen medium. This can include storyboards, visual frameworks, layout samples, or narrative sequencing. At this stage, we shape the structure, pacing, and visual identity so your story unfolds clearly and cohesively—whether experienced in print, on screen, or in a physical space.

3. Design & Proofing. Once the creative direction is approved, I bring your story to life through intentional design. Your content is transformed into a cohesive visual and emotional experience, with careful attention to typography, imagery, hierarchy, and flow. You’ll receive a digital proof or preview, and we’ll collaborate to refine every detail until the story feels authentic, engaging, and complete.

4. Final Files & Production Support. After final approval, I prepare and deliver all finalized files in the formats appropriate to your project—print-ready, digital, or installation-based. When applicable, I can also assist with production or launch coordination to ensure a seamless transition from design to final presentation.

“Liz is an incredible designer with a wealth of knowledge, but what makes her truly exceptional is the way she cares for her clients. She takes time to build a personal connection, meets you where you are, and really advocates for your brand. She’s become a trusted partner and friend to me. She is one of the kindest and most thoughtful designers I know, and I’m so grateful she’s local so I get to see her beautiful face in person.”
