Every piece in Liz’s studio tells a story. Each drawing, book, autograph, and collectible reflects a chapter of her life—rooted in childhood and teenage years spent roaming television soundstages, movie lots, art studios, and the imaginative halls of Walt Disney Imagineering. There, surrounded by creative visionaries, her artistic mind—and passion for storytelling—began to take shape.

My Story

LizKing_Headshot Cropped.jpg

Growing up immersed in the Disney and motion picture industry sparked my passion for storytelling. I have spent decades guiding others in bringing their stories to life through book design, graphic arts, and media.

When I was young, I received wise advice from the Legendary Disney Artist, Herb Ryman, it was, "Liz, now remember, your talent doesn't belong to you; you need to give it away." As a teenager, I didn't fully understand the wisdom behind the advice, but as highly as I admired Herb, I kept that nugget of advice close to my heart. Now, understanding the wisdom in Herb's advice, my passion is to share my talent and experience with storytelling to help others tell their stories in whatever media they desire. Whether it's helping someone articulate their own story, family history, a special event, compiling collective stories, designing a beautiful historic wall piece, or publishing a book, in helping others to share their story, together we can become part of rebuilding today's society that has become so disconnected from each other and reality.

My mission and passion is to empower others to embrace their creativity and express their unique voice through the art of storytelling.

Explore the world of Liz, where creativity meets expertise to craft captivating book designs and visual storytelling. With a keen eye for detail and a passion for storytelling, each project is brought to life with a unique touch.

My Process

1. Discovery & Creative Consultation

We begin with a collaborative meeting to review your manuscript, story, imagery, and design goals. This is where we explore your vision—style preferences, mood, color direction, and how you want your book to feel in readers’ hands.

2. Storyboarding & Design Planning

Next, I develop initial concepts for your book’s interior layout and cover design. This phase includes sample pages and layout direction to ensure we’re aligned on structure, theme, and visual identity before full production begins.

3. Book Design & Proofing

Once the design direction is approved, I create your full book layout. You’ll receive a digital proof for review, along with 2–3 rounds of revisions to refine every detail—from typography and image placement to pacing and visual balance.

4. Final Files & Production Support

After approval, I prepare and deliver all packaged and print-ready files to your printer. If desired, I can help coordinate with your selected printer to ensure a smooth transition into production.

What You Receive

✔ Custom cover + interior layout
✔ 2–3 rounds of proofs
✔ Print-ready files (packaged + optimized for your printer)
✔ Professional design support from start to finish

“Liz is an incredible designer with a wealth of knowledge, but what makes her truly exceptional is the way she cares for her clients. She takes time to build a personal connection, meets you where you are, and really advocates for your brand. She’s become a trusted partner and friend to me. She is one of the kindest and most thoughtful designers I know, and I’m so grateful she’s local so I get to see her beautiful face in person.”
